Battle Royale (Game Design) pt1

After discussion with our game design team, we have decided to expand some idea in our game prototype. Some of the new idea need to be added in, and some of the concept need to be changed.

The group already decided to split the task to elaborate on more on specific problems. My task is to elaborate the map of this game and add new concept or item into the map, so in this journal will mention some detail regards to map and few items that will be added in.

We design a new map to fit our new specification and expansion for our game. This following photo is our new map we have drawn .


 After every 5 turns, the game master would alert the forbidden blocks as the following picture.



 In the new map, we have added some special terrains:

  • Mountain/Hills: +1 line of sight to players
  • Light house: +2 line of sight to players
  • Residential area: here is the danger area, players who step into this area might suffered damage on health point.
  •  Shrine:  +1 Health point regeneration
  • Clinic: +2 Health point regeneration
  • School: permanent forbidden place, in use for the quest purposes.
  • Farm: allow player to hide, losing their hit point regeneration capabilities.
